That education is a fundamental human right for enabling and empowering society and that governments, CSOs, INGOs, NNGOs and Donor agencies are responsible for providing free, quality education that must be inclusive, equitable as well as lifelong learning opportunities to all citizens of Afghanistan, especially to poor and marginal people and communities with special focus on girls, people with special needs, indigenous people and LGBTs.
We belief that optimum outcome of primary and secondary education cannot be achieved in the absence of safe, enabling learning environments in homes and communities. That every citizen of the country is responsible to keep public education protected against political, religious and racial abuse and strengthen sense of ownership to local people.
That education and adult learning are essential means to combat poverty, fight all forms of discrimination, and equip citizens to actively participate in development and governance.
That through quality education, women and men, children and youth, individuals and communities can be empowered and enabled to improve their lives, and transform their conditions for sustainable development.
