ANEC Strategic Planning Workshop “Cooperation and Unity for our Common Goal”

ANEC with financial and technical support of ANAFAE-DVV International held a 2-days workshop under the theme of “Cooperation and Unity for our Common Goal” on 6-7 March 2019 at Setayesh hotel, Kabul Afghanistan.

The workshop was facilitated by Mr. Jochen to achieve the main objective of long term cooperation and unify ANEC member organizations to achieve sustainable coordination among CSOs working in education sector of Afghanistan.

The workshop was actively participated by more than 50 representatives from national and international NGOs as well as government.

During the workshop, participants updated on ANEC activities and achievements since 2016 at national, regional and international levels including active engagement at current policy platforms/meetings at national level, advocacy and participation in regional education coalitions meetings organized by ASPBAE and CSOs reflection on various position papers for High Level Political Forum meetings and Agenda 2030 on Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4).

As a result of active work group activities on difference aspects including challenges, concerns and difficulties to implement programs and projects were identified.  They discussed 18 different topics to cover every aspect of cooperation among CSOs and government and 11 projects were designed by participants to mobilize resources and mutual support between ANEC Secretariat and more than 60 member organizations of ANEC.
